What was the most interesting thing you discovered when writing this book? The helpfulness of others during my research.
What do you love most about New York? The people.
Which books do you recommend? More than any specific book, read something consistently. A newspaper, a novel, a history book. Too few people do it these days.
Which 5 people would you like to have over for dinner? My grandmother and her daughter, my dad. They will talk enough for 5 people.
What is something that most people might be surprised to know about you? I have a pilot’s license.
What else would you like to write a book about? A typical New York family, following them from generations back, when their ancestors arrived.
